This Cookie Policy explains how MB Andora, which runs the Mila Cantes store at milacantes.com and our country websites (“we”, “us”), uses cookies and similar technologies. How we handle personal information in general is described in our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as pixels, scripts and the browser’s local storage, work in much the same way, so this policy calls them all “cookies”. They let the store remember your cart, language and currency, keep checkout secure and help us understand how the store is used and measure our ads.

Your choice

On your first visit, a banner asks whether you accept cookies. You can accept all, decline all, or choose by category under “Manage preferences”. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of every page. Your choice applies to the website you are on: if you switch to another of our country websites, for example from milacantes.com to milacantes.de, the banner asks again.

Strictly necessary and functional cookies are always used. Analytics cookies, and the marketing cookies of Google and Shopify, are used only if you accept them. The Meta pixel works differently, as explained under “Marketing” below.

You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block all cookies in your browser, the cart and checkout will not work.

Cookies we use

Strictly necessary. Shopify, our store platform, uses these cookies to keep the items in your cart, remember your country, language, currency and cookie choice, keep you signed in to your account and protect checkout against fraud. Shop, Shopify’s checkout service, uses a cookie for Shop Pay. These cookies do not need your consent.

Functional. These cookies make parts of the store work as you expect and are used whatever you choose in the banner: Translation Lab remembers the language you selected, the live engraving preview remembers which version of the preview you are shown (our own cookies, kept for up to 180 days), and the support chat (Re:amaze) keeps your conversation open as you move between pages.

Analytics. With your consent, Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics and Judge.me measure how visitors use the store, for example which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive and whether an order is completed. We use this to improve the store. Our own visitor statistics also run only after you accept analytics.

Marketing. With your consent, Google Ads and Shopify measure the results of our ads and help show them to people who may be interested.

The Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram) is installed through the Omega Facebook Pixel app. To measure the results of our Meta ads, the Meta pixel script and the cookies _fbp, obj_fbp_fbc, otm_cid, ex_id and section_order_id are set on every visit, including before you make a choice in the banner and after you decline. The app also sends information about your visit, such as your cookie choice and cart identifier, to its own servers. Browsing events, such as the pages and products you view and the items you add to your cart, are sent from your browser to Meta only if you accept marketing cookies. When you place an order, information about the order may be sent to Meta from the app’s servers to measure the results of our ads. Meta may combine this information with what it already knows about you, under its own privacy policy.

Other services on our pages

Some parts of our pages are loaded from other providers, which receive your IP address and basic browser information when the page loads: Trustpilot (review widgets), Re:amaze (support chat), hCaptcha (spam protection on the Your Privacy Choices page), Supabase (fonts and symbols for the engraving preview) and the content delivery networks Google Hosted Libraries and cdnjs (Cloudflare).

Providers

Transfers outside the EEA

Some of these providers process information outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States.
